Coach
’Traub will facilitate fun
team building exercises and
a mental skills training
workshop for your coaching
staff. This process can take
from 90 minutes to two days,
depending on your needs.
Costs vary accordingly. One
thing is certain: coaches
required to attend this
event will prefer it to
other meetings they’ve had
to attend.
"Sport
instills in us the ability
to recognize and appreciate
the talents of others as
well as the gifts we have
been given and the ability
to work with others as a
team. It also allows us to
face the challenge of
competition and learn from
our successes and failures,
altogether making us true
champions in life."
---Dr. Dot
Richardson
Note:
Coach ’Traub also teaches a
three-hour college class
(freshman level) that
emphasizes the lessons of
sport psychology: PHED 1321
- Theory of Coaching
Basketball and Football.
This course is at Cedar
Valley College (a community
college), and it may be
possible to take it online
in future semesters.
"We are
on the field and in the
locker room to teach our
players how to win - not
just on the gridiron, but in
any profession they choose.
We want to impart habits
that will lead them to
excellence throughout their
lives.
Most of
all, we want to teach them
the value of loyalty,
integrity, and teamwork.
Once you know how to work
with people, you can
accomplish anything."
-Lou Holtz
